ASCRIBE  refer to the cause, source, or author – caused by, comes from, associated with

 

1 Chronicles 16:28-29 (NIV) Ascribe to the LORD, O families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength, ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name.

 

Ponder this: The source of glory is the LORD God Almighty! To him alone belongs praise, honor, and distinction above all else. It is the duty and responsibility of families of nations—all people—every person—to ascribe, recognize, and proclaim the glory rightfully due to the name of Almighty God, our LORD.
