HEAR become aware of sounds
Deuteronomy 5:1 (NIV) Hear, O Israel, the decrees and laws I declare in your hearing today.
Deuteronomy 6:4 (NIV) Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 29; 3:6, 13, 22 (NIV) He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Ponder this: Hearing is involuntary and natural; it is a physical activity. Hearing does not require further action. One can hear sounds; one can also “tune them out.” It is possible to hear something repeatedly without paying attention. You may hear the Word of God often, but have you been listening?
