1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Anxiety pushes a person beyond normal nervousness or fear. Anxiety can be paralyzing to some individuals. But anxiety is related to those things which have not yet happened. According to most dictionaries, anxiety is or can be an abnormal or overwhelming sense of apprehension of what could happen combined with the self-doubt of one’s ability to cope with it.

What I do know is that our loving Heavenly Father cares deeply about his faithful ones. And I know from personal experience that bringing my cares and concerns—even my deepest anxieties—to the Lord in prayer brings peace.
Gracious Heavenly Father,
Thank you for providing wisdom to medical professionals who help those with physical and emotional needs. Thank you for caring so deeply for each of your faithful ones. Thank you that we have the means to approach your throne of grace in prayer; that we are invited to give all our anxieties and concerns to you in exchange for your peace. Calm our hearts and minds regarding the storms in our lives.
