Psalm 3:8 From the LORD comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.
Today’s encouragement is a simple one. Take time to notice the blessings of today. We are so quick to notice the inconsistencies, difficulties, mistakes, glitches, challenges—all those things we wish were different and in alignment with our preferences. Today I’m asking you to allow each moment of your day be what it is. Avoid the temptation to control it or make it what you wish it were or how you think it ought to be. Breathe deeply. Notice your surroundings. Be thankful.
Gracious Heavenly Father,
Our minds are already caught up in the busyness and rush of the season. Teach us to look for evidence of your presence in each moment. Your blessings abound—may our hearts grow in thankfulness to you.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, Amen.
