Isaiah 6:3 Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.
How amazing to watch the changing of seasons. From blazing hot summers to the chilly and wet browns tones that fall brings. Soon the browns of fall will turn into the crisp whites of winter. Then bright greens of spring splashed with colorful flowers will emerge. And over again the cycle repeats. The glory of God our Creator can be seen in the details of changing seasons.
How amazing to watch the wide variety of wildlife in action. Jittery squirrels darting to and fro storing up acorns for the winter months; seemingly unaware of the birds of prey circling silently in the skies above. It is amazing to think of the variety of sizes and shapes—long-necked and long-legged giraffes, rotund hippos, elephants with flapping ears and elongated trunks and legs as stout as tree trunks—tiny hummingbirds flying faster than a blink, tiny tadpoles and minnows, the vast array of beetles.
Amazing skies burst with colors of sunrises and sunsets. Rainbows appear when stormy gray skies subside. In some areas, nights are ablaze with colorful Northern Light displays. Galaxies stretch beyond imagination.
Take a moment from your busy schedules to read Job, chapters 38-41.
Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.
Gracious Heavenly Father,
Today we simply come to you with our praise and adoration for your glory which is revealed to us through your amazing creation. Our hearts are full of wonder and awe. Each time we see the evidence of your glory we are reminded of your eternal presence. We humbly thank you.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
