GLORY splendor; magnificence; grandeur; superiority

 

Isaiah 60:1 (NIV) Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.

 

Ponder this: The magnificence and splendor of the LORD God Almighty is beyond our human comprehension or understanding. We catch little snippets of it through the beauty of nature and the grandeur of God’s wondrous creation in space, on earth, and beneath the seas. The LORD God Almighty—Creator of all that exists—Creator of all the scientific rules, laws, and principles that keep all that exists functioning. The superiority of God is clear, for “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever! Amen, ” [Revelation 5:13].
